Dr. Keith HodgeMonarch Plastic Surgery’s own Dr. Hodge, who considers cosmetic surgery his artistic expression, is taking Facebook and Instagram by storm with his humor and insights into the life of a plastic surgeon and daily happenings at Monarch Plastic Surgery.

A member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Hodge is also a past president of the Kansas City Plastic Surgery Society, and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Kansas Department of Plastic Surgery. How he has time to do all this, interact with followers on social media, and bring his artistic eye and surgical talents to work everyday, we’ll never know.

The first and, at present, the only Instagram user to use the hashtag, #ilovebeingaplasticsurgeon, Dr. Hodge recognizes social media as an important and fun way to stay connected with patients, peers, and the world outside Monarch’s office. He regularly shares photos, videos, and announcements with all of his fans and followers.

His latest video features one of Monarch’s signature breast implants being run over by a car. Spoiler alert: the implant is perfectly fine, demonstrating the quality and durability of the implants.

Whether he’s introducing new physicians at Monarch, sharing the latest and greatest news at plastic surgery conferences, or starting new Instagram trends (see #FaceLiftFriday!), Dr. Hodge delights followers and fans with his behind-the-scenes look at Monarch.
