Number one for the past 10 years, breast augmentation remains the most popular procedure in America with over 290,000 procedures performed last year alone. Monarch Plastic Surgery offers different types of FDA-approved breast implants and are proud to use the Allergan Natrelle line of implants, which offer the latest technology in breast implants.

Natrelle Inspira

Natrelle Inspira Cohesive is the newest entry into breast implants commonly referred to as “gummy” implants, which are designed for women who want to achieve breast fullness.

Harper’s Bazaar describes “gummy” implants in a simple way: instead of a “liquid sloshing around inside an implant,” they are made up of a silicone cohesive gel that keeps its form if cut in half - like a gummy bear. Since these implants are breaking and leaking less, they do not need to be replaced nearly as often as traditional implants.

According to Glamour Magazine, the combination of a high gel-fill ratio and Allergan’s highly cohesive gel makes the implant more firm, full and taut than the alternative. What makes this line different from the others is the amount of gel in the implants. Over time, patients often feel ripples in their implants, but the firmer texture of Inspira implants prevent that, while giving a more full, round look.

With over 400 types of implants changing in shapes, surfaces and feels, the Inspira implants are designed to give a completely custom look. It’s a wonderful choice for women who are naturally thin or athletic build.

According to Monarch Plastic Surgery Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Keith Hodge, “These extra high profile implants are perfect for my petite patients. They allow for more volume without getting too wide and give a full upper breast, which looks very pretty!”

These shaped gel implants offer a fullness that resembles a woman’s real curves. They are formed in a teardrop shape instead of a round shape to gradually taper at a slope. The implant is thinner at the top and fuller at the bottom, making it appear shaped instead of stuffed, and are made of highly cohesive silicone gel to give a firm filling.

Natrelle Classic

This implant is designed for a classic, full look. The Natrelle Classic implants are traditional silicone and add fullness to both the upper and lower portions of the breast.
