The health of your skin is important, especially when you want to have smooth, glowing curves for summer. Instead of trying to find the absolute best regimen for your unique skin type, consider taking advantage of the following eight tips from skin care experts who can help you get the glowing skin you want:
- Practice healthy, mindful eating. Nutrition is more than just cutting calories; you want a balanced diet without additives. Adding the right nutrients to your diet can help reverse under-eye circles and puffiness.
- Get more sleeping. Sleep plays a major role in your skin care and health. While you sleep, your skin produces collagen and elastin, which can help keep your skin firm, toned, and elastic.
- Stop picking at your skin. Instead of picking at that stubborn pimple, try spot treatment using salicylic acid.
- Wash your face regularly. Remove grease and oil from your skin by washing your face thoroughly every night.
- Apply eye cream. If you’re worried about fine lines under and around your eyes, you may not be using eye cream properly. Apply eye cream under your eyes, starting in the bottom corner of the inner eye, and moving out toward your cheekbone and hairline. Then, move up around the lid for a full application.

- Protect your skin. Always use broad-spectrum sunblock of SPF 30 or higher. You need to protect your skin to keep it healthy. The sun feels great, but it can dry out the very thing you want to shine. Try wearing sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat if you plan on being outside for an extended period of time.
