Breast augmentation, which is a long-time favorite cosmetic procedure, is no longer the focus of cosmetic surgeons nationwide based on the latest statistics released by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. According to the recent report, the number of buttock augmentations have increased by 15 percent from the previous year, while buttock implants increased by 98 percent and buttock lifts rose by 44 percent.
Scot Glasberg, President of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, pointed to the obvious lineup of celebrities flaunting their backends as the cause of the trend. In addition to stars influencing women to desire larger assets, improved technology now allows plastic surgeons to deliver the results women want.
In addition to the number of women seeking bigger assets, men are seeking larger pectoral implants.
