During the summer season, most of us want to spend time outdoors enjoying the sunshine either at home in our own backyards, or while on vacation at the beach or pool. While playing in the sun can be fun, exposing your skin to too much sunlight can increase your risk for sunburn, wrinkles, and skin cancer. Throughout the summertime, the hours between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. are often the most dangerous hours for sun exposure, but by practicing the proper skincare, you can reduce your risk for health problems.
