2. Thou shalt avoid the tanning salon
Tanning beds can cause problems with your skin, dehydrating it and exposing it to the harmful UV rays.
3. Thou shalt moisturize regularly
Think of your skin care routine as though you are preparing for a final exam, and use preparation to do well. Try using an anti-aging moisturizer five days before a major event, and make sure your skin is absorbing all the good things it needs to stay hydrated.
4. Thou shalt drink lots of water
Not only does your body benefit from drinking water, but it is especially great for your skin and hair. Hydration gives your skin the healthy glow you’ve always craved.
5. Thou shalt hydrate before bed
While you sleep, you lose hydration, so try drinking water before going to bed. It will help you sleep and help your skin stay healthy throughout the night.
6. Thou shalt eat healthy
Eating healthy positively affects your skin. Try drinking at least eight cups of water with lemon, and eating one avocado every day.
7. Thou shalt properly remove makeup
Before going to bed, remove all makeup from your face.
8. Thou shalt wash your face
After you remove any makeup, wash your face at the end of every day. Cleaning your skin before bed keeps you looking younger, and allows your moisturizer to work more efficiently.
